Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ron jeremy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). West kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fabolous- Imma Do It. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrew West!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, ron jeremy!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from West misses.
West shoots for a takedown but jeremy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
jeremy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
West throws a quick inside leg kick.

West looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
West will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
West throwing shots but jeremy is blocking nicely.
West tries to pass to full mount but jeremy defends it.
jeremy keeping hold of West's head, controlling as best he can.

West wants to work for an arm triangle but jeremy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
jeremy trying to control from the bottom.
jeremy looks gassed!
West drops an elbow to the side of jeremy's head.

West tries to pass the half guard into mount. jeremy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
jeremy tries to kick West off but West keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

West stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows jeremy to get to his feet.
Horrible takedown by jeremy or perhaps it was just good defense by West which made him look bad.
West tries to clinch but jeremy is having none of it.
West misses with a takedown attempt - jeremy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A slapping body kick lands there for West.
West lands with a slapping head kick.

West instigates a clinch.

West manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

West bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in jeremy's guard.
jeremy is trying to control the position but West postures up.
jeremy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst West is controlling him.
West stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. jeremy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
West missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
West trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
West postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
jeremy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

West takes the fight into the clinch.
jeremy fails to pull the fight into his guard.

West manages to break the clinch.
West misses with a jab, cross combination.
West throws a head kick that jeremy semi-blocks.
West has his takedown stuffed

and jeremy counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew West. That's going to take a lot out of him.
West is looking to regain half guard here but jeremy keeps moving and retains side control.

jeremy decides to take the fight back to the feet.
jeremy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
West avoids a kick to the body.

West tries to clinch up but jeremy circles away and keeps his distance.
West doesn't succeed with the takedown

and jeremy counters with a nice double leg into side control. West won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

jeremy decides to stand back up. jeremy steps back and let's West get back to his feet.
A head kick by jeremy misses

and West counters by clinching up.
Knees in the clinch landing for West.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

West pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
West tries for a takedown but jeremy circles away easily

and jeremy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in West's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

jeremy throws an overhand right that lands on West's shoulder, as West tries to avoid the shot.
West fails with the takedown

and jeremy counters with a nice double leg into guard.
West tries to land a sweep but no joy.
jeremy trying to control but West is working from the bottom.
West pulls jeremy in to control the position.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - jeremy has eaten all the pies!
jeremy wants to stand but West has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

West is working an open guard so jeremy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
jeremy throws a series of punches but West moves out of range.

West gets in close and instigates a clinch.
West has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. jeremy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
A body shot lands from West.

West breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
West throws a push kick but jeremy slaps the foot to one side.
jeremy throws a sloppy head kick and West moves out of range easily.

jeremy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
jeremy content to control rather than advance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

jeremy trying to control from half guard but West is working away.
West has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. jeremy is working away from the top position though.
jeremy is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
jeremy content just to control the position here.

jeremy trying to control but West is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
West regains half guard.
ron jeremy has got the better of the ground game so far.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
West is trying to control but can't.
jeremy perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
West is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
jeremy not doing much here.

Despite being in the dominant position, ron jeremy just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and jeremy counters with a nice double leg into guard.

jeremy won't allow West to sweep him here.
jeremy passes West's left leg - he's now in half guard.
jeremy seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
jeremy tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

ron jeremy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


jeremy takes a swing at West's ribcage but misses.
West lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
West rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but jeremy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
jeremy throws a sloppy head kick
and West counters with a three punch combo that has jeremy backing up. jeremy nods at West to acknowledge the strikes.
West looks to clinch
and jeremy counters with a nice body kick.
West lands a nice leg kick that just misses jeremy's sensitive parts.

West closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
West missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
West is stalling here. jeremy is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! West seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and jeremy has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
West is looking to work his way out of this bad position but jeremy is controlling him well.

jeremy has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
West throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
jeremy throws a lazy head kick
and West counters with a leg kick.
A combination from jeremy does no damage.
Andrew West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
jeremy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
West wants to clinch.
Andrew West is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
jeremy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from West.
West misses with a jab, cross combination.
West fails with the takedown.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

West pushes jeremy off and scrambles back to his feet.
West wants to clinch up but jeremy keeps it at a distance.

West wants to improve his position but jeremy is controlling well.
jeremy is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
jeremy is figuring out what he wants to do next.

West is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but jeremy pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are battling for position here. West manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

jeremy stands and steps away. West gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

West throws a nice looking combination but jeremy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
jeremy misses with a kick to the body.

West gets the takedown into side control.

West looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
West wants to control but jeremy is keeping him busy.

Andrew West showed his dominance in that final round.
I think jeremy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
