The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buxada tries to bum rush Rider with a series of wild strikes but Rider uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Nice straight punches there by Rider. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rider.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Buxada just misses with a elbow thrown towards Rider's brow.
