Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ramadan Qadirov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Weitzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Qadirov's entrance music is Molotov 4. A fine choice. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ramadan Qadirov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jan Weitzer!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qadirov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Qadirov lands with a right hand.
Qadirov throws an overhand right that lands on Weitzer's shoulder, as Weitzer tries to avoid the shot.
Qadirov lets loose with a powerful body kick. Weitzer will feel that in the morning.
Ramadan Qadirov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weitzer keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Qadirov will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Qadirov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Jan Weitzer has been cut.
Qadirov scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Qadirov tries to clinch but Weitzer moves out of range.
Qadirov thuds his right hand into Weitzer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.


Weitzer is rocked!
Nice defenses there by Weitzer.
Weitzer is still on wobbly legs! Can Qadirov finish him?
Qadirov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Weitzer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Weitzer seems to have recovered his senses.
Weitzer keeps the fight on the outside.
Qadirov tries to work over Weitzer's front leg with a kick but Weitzer checks it.
Qadirov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Qadirov throws a head kick that Weitzer semi-blocks.
Weitzer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Qadirov.

Qadirov instigates a clinch.

Weitzer wants to get back to striking at distance but Qadirov won't allow it.
Qadirov keeps control of Weitzer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Qadirov using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Weitzer has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Weitzer fails to pull guard.

Qadirov breaks from the clinch.
An inside leg kick lands from Qadirov.
Qadirov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Weitzer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Weitzer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Weitzer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Qadirov.
Qadirov punishes Weitzer's body with a nice straight punch.
Qadirov throws a nice outside leg kick.
Qadirov jabs at Weitzer's body.
Weitzer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Qadirov wants to clinch.
Qadirov lands a really nice looking cross but Weitzer seems unphased.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Qadirov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Weitzer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Qadirov to score with a decent uppercut.
Qadirov is looking to slow Weitzer down with leg kicks.

Qadirov rushes Weitzer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Qadirov lands a right hand.
Qadirov will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Weitzer up against the cage.

Weitzer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Qadirov uses from the top position.
Qadirov is stalling in the full guard.
Qadirov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Weitzer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Qadirov wants to stand but Weitzer has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Weitzer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Qadirov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Weitzer looks gassed!
Qadirov is looking to stand up but Weitzer won't let him.

Weitzer has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Qadirov should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Weitzer has tightened it up now! Qadirov should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
