Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adao Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mateo valaquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adao Ribeiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, mateo valaquez!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
valaquez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ribeiro has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. valaquez is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ribeiro.

valaquez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ribeiro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Ribeiro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. valaquez was covering up waiting for the punch and Ribeiro finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ribeiro has gone for a leg lock! valaquez slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ribeiro's guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, valaquez cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

valaquez lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by valaquez.
