The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Molina misses.
Jansson clinches up with Molina and pushes him back against the cage.
Jansson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Molina is defending well for now.
Molina is trying to break free.
Molina gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jansson.
Jansson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Molina gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Molina can't break the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Molina's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Molina breaks the clinch.
Nice shot lands for Molina.
Jansson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Molina sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jansson somewhat.
Drew Molina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andreas Jansson.
Jansson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Molina as he avoids it easily.
Jansson misses with a double jab
letting Molina counter with a right hand.
Molina lands a nice looking body shot.
Molina throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Molina scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jansson looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Molina is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Jansson flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jansson is out cold! Molina holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
