Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between BC Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Cilva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins fails with an attempt to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hawkins.

Hawkins drives through and clinches with Cilva against the cage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cilva is working for takedown but Hawkins is calmly controlling the position for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hawkins throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Cilva lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hawkins!

Cilva swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hawkins is now in Cilva's guard. A big mistake from Cilva there, giving up the dominant position!

Hawkins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cilva manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee stands the fighters back up. BC Hawkins just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Hawkins shoots for a double leg takedown but Cilva sprawls well. He's pushed Hawkins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cilva is looking to clinch.
Cilva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hawkins as he jumps to the side.
Hawkins dives in and grabs Cilva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cilva pushes down on Hawkins's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BC Hawkins. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Hawkins cracks Cilva with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Cilva wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Cilva is taking damage to the body and head.
Hawkins cracks Cilva with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Cilva from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Hawkins has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Cilva! Can he survive? No! He's out! Hawkins gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
