The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galadima misses with a head kick.

AxeMurderer shoots in and bounces Galadima off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

AxeMurderer had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Galadima is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. AxeMurderer Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Galadima's back instead.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
You can see the frustration on Galadima's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

AxeMurderer is persistently looking for the submission but Galadima is defending it well.

Galadima is in a bad position with AxeMurderer working for a choke. Galadima manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

and AxeMurderer counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Galadima wants to control but AxeMurderer is having none of it.

AxeMurderer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Galadima can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
