Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mano Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McQuade lands a nice looking body shot.
Silva avoids the head kick by McQuade.
McQuade tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McQuade looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but McQuade persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
McQuade has managed to clinch.
Silva changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McQuade fights it off and pushes away nicely.
McQuade keeps the fight on the outside.
Silva tries to clinch there but McQuade circles away.
Silva drives through and clinches with McQuade against the cage.
Silva drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McQuade gets the underhooks and prevents it.
McQuade will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Silva up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, McQuade creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
McQuade jumps guard but Silva stands there with McQuade around his waist. McQuade gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Silva is trying to force a seperation but McQuade has the dominant position.
McQuade goes for a takedown attempt but Silva pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Mano Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack McQuade.
McQuade closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silva circles away.
McQuade tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
Silva wants to clinch up but McQuade keeps it at a distance.
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McQuade has a takedown stuffed.

Silva shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. McQuade manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
McQuade throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Silva escapes and throws McQuade's legs to the side, diving into side control!

McQuade is looking for a sweep.
Silva decides to stand back up. Silva steps back and let's McQuade get back to his feet.
Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silva showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McQuade looks gassed!
Silva seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Silva is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for McQuade!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McQuade misses with a takedown attempt
and Silva counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McQuade's guard now.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McQuade on the ground.
Silva wants to control from the top but McQuade keeps moving.

McQuade tries to land a sweep but no joy.

McQuade is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
Silva throws a right and a left that McQuade avoids nicely.

and Silva counters with a left and a right that stings McQuade.
McQuade throws a solid leg kick but Silva takes the impact on his shin and smiles at McQuade.
Silva smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
McQuade is rocked!
Silva pushes McQuade up against the cage in a clinch.
McQuade is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
McQuade keeps control of Silva as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
McQuade seems to have recovered his senses.
Silva tries to break free but McQuade pushes him back against the cage.
Silva fails to pull the fight into his guard.
McQuade jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. McQuade gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Silva drops McQuade with a beautiful combination! McQuade stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Silva is looking for the KO!

McQuade moves into range and clinches up with Silva.
McQuade tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.
McQuade slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and McQuade counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Silva is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McQuade has a closed guard, preventing Silva from standing up.
McQuade pulls Silva in close to his closed guard and prevents Silva from doing any damage or advancing position.
Silva is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Silva has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight!
Mano Silva showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Silva has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
