Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Kosmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Almeida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kosmo comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool - Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
No joy there for Kosmo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Almeida waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Kosmo.
Kosmo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Almeida sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kosmo somewhat.
Kosmo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kosmo lands in his opponent's guard.

Kosmo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Almeida has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kosmo has managed to get both his arms back between Almeida's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Almeida is squirming around, avoiding Kosmo's attempts to control the action.
Almeida regains half guard.
Almeida wants to improve his position but Kosmo is controlling well.
Kosmo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Almeida with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kosmo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Kosmo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Almeida sprawls well initially but Kosmo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Almeida drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kosmo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kosmo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kosmo!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kosmo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
