Stuber Jr throws the kick towards the body but Vernon avoids it.
Vernon stuffs the takedown.
Stuber Jr pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Vernon. No joy for Stuber Jr on that attempt.
Vernon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Stuber Jr closes the distance and clinches.
Vernon scores a nice knee to the body.
Stuber Jr has Vernon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Vernon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Stuber Jr swings around for an armbar but Vernon sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Stuber Jr's guard.

Stuber Jr is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Vernon frees his head nicely. Oh but Stuber Jr has switched to an armbar! Vernon is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
