Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luis Da Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pera Pervo!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnem�ki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pervo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Pervo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silva moves into the clinch successfully.
Silva gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pervo.
Pervo has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Silva is trying to keep an underhook but Pervo manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Pervo thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Silva to regain full guard.
Pervo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Silva looking for a guillotine here but Pervo defends easily.
Silva working for a triangle but Pervo defends it easily.

Pervo is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pervo tries to stand but Silva is controlling from the bottom.
Silva working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pervo.
Pervo with a flurry of punches that miss.
Silva is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Silva trying to keep a closed guard but Pervo is proving a slippery customer.
Silva avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Silva keeping moving, preventing Pervo from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pervo counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Pervo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Pervo looking to sit in guard and control but Silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pervo looking for a sweep. Not yet Pervo, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pervo is controlling Silva's posture.
Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Pervo is retaining full guard.
Silva won't allow Pervo to sweep him here.
Pervo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silva defends well.
Pervo is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.
Pervo looking for subs off his back but Silva has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Silva wants to control but Pervo is keeping him busy.
Pervo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silva is working away from the top position though.
Pervo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Pervo is trying to maintain the position but Silva is very close to passing his half guard.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Pera Pervo dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Silva tries to clinch up
and Pervo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pervo.
Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pervo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Pervo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pervo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pervo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silva manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Pervo trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pervo stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Silva has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Pervo manages to get his head free but now Silva has transitioned to an armbar! Pervo grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Silva! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
