And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hella Alapaa!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alapaa doesn't manage to clinch there - Grunt circles away.
The fighters circling - Grunt throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Alapaa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grunt manages to avoid it.
Grunt throws a jab but it's blocked by Alapaa.
Grunt misses with a wild combination.
Grunt dodges the punch combination from Alapaa.
Grunt could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Grunt throws a looping overhand right but Alapaa ducks down to avoid it.

Alapaa lands a left and a right that send Grunt crashing to the mat, dazed. Alapaa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like David Grunt has been cut.
Grunt connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Hella Alapaa has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Grunt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Alapaa closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Grunt out cold! Grunt corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
