Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergi Olympiev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gavril Sidelnikov!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sidelnikov is defended easily by Olympiev.
Sidelnikov shoots in for a double leg but Olympiev sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sidelnikov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sidelnikov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Olympiev as he avoids it easily.
Sergi Olympiev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gavril Sidelnikov.
Olympiev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sidelnikov tries to avoid it but Olympiev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sidelnikov to the ground. Sidelnikov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sidelnikov misses with a few strikes there.
Sidelnikov with a lazy takedown attempt
and Olympiev counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sidelnikov won't be happy with that.
Olympiev has an Americana. Sidelnikov didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Olympiev is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Olympiev hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
