Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Machidan Lyoton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josu Ander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josu Ander has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Ander misses the target.
Lyoton closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Ander uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lyoton.
Lyoton takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lyoton thuds a left hand into Ander's body.
Ander swings for the body but Lyoton moves out of range.

Machidan Lyoton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lyoton gets caught flat footed, as Ander shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lyoton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ander defends it easily.
Ander postures up and lands a big shot to Lyoton's brow.
Lyoton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ander doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ander manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lyoton wants to sweep here but Ander controlling him for the moment.
Ander tries to free his leg and advance position but Lyoton is retaining full guard.
Lyoton trying to keep a closed guard but Ander is proving a slippery customer.

Ander got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lyoton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ander has managed to get both his arms back between Lyoton's legs - danger averted.

Ander passes Lyoton's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Ander drops an elbow to the side of Lyoton's head.
Ander is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Ander is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Ander looks to land a strike but Lyoton avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Lyoton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ander gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ander advances position into side control!
Ander connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lyoton some visible discomfort.
It looks like Machidan Lyoton has been cut.
Lyoton is looking for a sweep.
Ander is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lyoton has escaped the position, nice work there.
Lyoton is looking for a sweep.
Lyoton is working hard here to advance position.
You can see the frustration on Lyoton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Lyoton is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ander connects with a decent elbow.

Lyoton is trying to control Ander's posture but Ander avoids it.
Ander has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The ground and pound from Ander seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
