Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Iggy Reznor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua shoots in and drives through. Reznor sprawls well.
Rua looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reznor is fending him off so far but Rua persists. Nope, Reznor circles away and we're back to standing.

Reznor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rua sprawls well initially but Reznor persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Reznor is thwarting Rua's attempts to control the position.
Reznor is trying to control. Rua wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Reznor seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Rua is looking for a sweep. Reznor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Reznor wants to pass the guard but Rua is defending well.
Reznor is looking to take a break and control but Rua is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Reznor lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Reznor tries to stand but can't do so whilst Rua controls his leg.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rua gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Reznor tries to free his leg and advance position but Rua is retaining full guard.
Reznor prevents Rua from getting back to his feet.
Reznor stands and throws Rua's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Reznor throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Reznor is staying tight to Rua's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Rua wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Reznor has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Rua's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Rua is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Reznor!
