Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mack Swick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santos Borreco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borreco comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "Gladiator" by Common kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swick drives through and clinches with Borreco against the cage.
Swick tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Borreco just stands there and leans against the cage.

Borreco is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Swick is defending well for now.

Swick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Swick lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Santos Borreco has been cut.

Borreco closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Borreco is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Swick looks calm but he's in trouble here. Borreco gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Swick is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Borreco lets go of the hold and Swick can pop his arm back in it's socket.
