Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between ryan sozdog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petrick Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Petrick Cote was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

sozdog instigates a clinch.
sozdog tries for a takedown. No joy.

sozdog pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Cote closes the distance and clinches.
sozdog looking to slow down the pace here.
sozdog wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cote has him pressed against the cage.
sozdog working hard to break the clinch.
sozdog is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cote is defending well for now.
sozdog unloads a knee to the mid-section.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Cote is trying to break the clinch but sozdog is controlling him.
sozdog is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
sozdog tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cote avoids it.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. sozdog obliges.
sozdog lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cote or not.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

sozdog drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cote won't allow sozdog to sweep him here.

Cote controlling from the top position.
sozdog wants to sweep but no luck.
Cote really doesn't want to stay on the ground with sozdog. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

sozdog looking for a guillotine here but Cote defends easily.

Cote is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but sozdog has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cote is looking to defend but sozdog has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cote! sozdog pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cote taps out and this one is all over!
