The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Graves lands a big right hand that sends Kawoski crashing to the mat! Graves stays standing though and waves Kawoski back to his feet!

It looks like Igor Kawoski has been cut.
Kawoski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Graves circles away.

Randall Graves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Kawoski.
Graves tries to land a front kick but Kawoski steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Graves gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Graves's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Graves stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Graves wants it to stay on the feet.
Graves swats away the attempt to clinch by Kawoski.

Graves cracks Kawoski with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kawoski looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Graves finish him?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kawoski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kawoski lands in his opponent's guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kawoski is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Graves is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Graves has escaped and now he's on top!

Kawoski stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Graves swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Graves takes the fight into the clinch.
Graves will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kawoski up against the cage.

Graves breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Graves shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Graves perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Graves lands a big head kick that sends Kawoski tumbling to the mat! Graves takes a step backwards and waves Kawoski back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Graves instigates a clinch.
Kawoski is trying to break the clinch but Graves is controlling him.

Graves escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Graves connects with a stiff jab that staggers Kawoski - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
