Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fransje DuVal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Christ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christ has chosen Craig (nsfw) as his entrance music. Fransje DuVal has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fransje DuVal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Craig Christ!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
DuVal shoots in but Christ avoids the takedown attempt easily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

DuVal is working for a submission of some sort.
Christ keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Christ is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

DuVal shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Christ as he jumps to the side.

Christ wants to control for a moment but DuVal uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Christ changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. DuVal looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Well Christ has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
