The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hate keeps the fight on the outside.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hate is defended easily by Pick.
Hate keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pick tries to close the distance and clinch but Hate swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Pick keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pick tries to clinch up.
Pick moves in looking to clinch but Hate pushes him off.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hate fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ice Pick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Myles Hate.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hate.
Hate avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Pick tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hate misses with a leg kick.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Pick fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hate, pushing him back against the cage.
Pick lands an elbow just above Hate 's eye.

It looks like Myles Hate has been cut.
Nice elbow from Pick.
Hate takes an elbow to the temple.

That has opened up Myles Hate's cut even more.
Hate is working for takedown but Pick is calmly controlling the position for now.
Hate drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pick gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Pick creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hate's defenses.
Pick lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Myles Hate's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Myles Hate's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
