The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands a two punch combo.
Jack shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smith as he jumps to the side.
Jack shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jack shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gareth Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frosty Jack.
Jack shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith defends it nicely.
Jack takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Smith displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jack.
Frosty Jack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith throws a right and a left that Jack avoids nicely.
Jack shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Jack's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smith drops Jack with a beautiful combination! Jack stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smith is looking for the KO!
Jack is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
A big right followed by a crushing left from Smith knocks Jack out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
