Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos comes to the cage accompanied by Oh Lets Do it by waka flocka flame. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Page!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Page gets the takedown into side control.
Sloppy strikes there by Page.
Page fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Page tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Santos is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Page has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Page creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Santos sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Page has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Page is defended easily by Santos.
Santos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Santos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Page moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Page tries to clinch up.
Page misses with a takedown attempt - Santos sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Page keeps the fight on the outside.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Page loads up on a big right hand but Santos slips the punch.
Santos tries to bum rush Page with a series of wild strikes but Page uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Page shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Santos pinned against the cage. Santos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Alex Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Page.
Page finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Santos swats away the attempt to clinch by Page.

Page shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Santos's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Page loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Santos utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Sean Page dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Santos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Page as he jumps to the side.
Sean Page seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Page shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Santos manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Page postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Page with a flurry of punches that miss.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Santos has a closed guard, preventing Page from standing up.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Page's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Page connects with a couple of short punches.
Page lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Page with a nice head shot there.

Page postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Santos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Page, into his guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Santos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Page is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Page working for a triangle but Santos defends it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Page is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Page working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Santos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Santos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Santos lands a couple of digs.
Page is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Santos postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Page is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Santos on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Santos tries to get out of the position.
Santos looks like he's trying to stand up.
Page working over Santos with some ground and pound. Santos looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Santos is defending against the submission attempts here by Page.

Page with the ground and pound but Santos uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Page is working Santos over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Sean Page showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Sean Page is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Page winds up and cracks Santos with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Sean Page comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Page winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
