Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lalli Koylio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koylio has chosen Moonsorrow - Köyliönjärven Jäällä (Pakanavedet II) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lalli Koylio!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Putin tries to land a front kick but Koylio steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Koylio misses with a jab, cross combination.
Koylio thows a left - swing and a miss!
Koylio throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Koylio connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Putin momentarily.
Lalli Koylio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Putin scores with a push kick.
Putin misses with a body kick.
Putin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Koylio is trying to defend but Putin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Koylio tries to roll over but Putin keeps him under control.
Putin thows a huge punch but Koylio dodges it nicely.
Putin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Koylio does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Putin tries to pass to full mount but Koylio defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Putin passes to side control.
Putin tries to move to full mount but Koylio actually manages to regain half guard.
Putin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Koylio is just riding it out for now. Putin eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Koylio is pressing down on Putin's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Koylio not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Koylio tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Koylio can't keep his opponent in guard - Putin advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Putin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Koylio knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Putin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Koylio defend it? Putin steps over the head and cranks it - Koylio is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Putin!
