Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Heduardo Nogueira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bob Bitchin!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bitchin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nogueira tries to avoid it but Bitchin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nogueira to the ground. Nogueira escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nogueira misses with a kick to the body.
Nogueira tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bitchin swivels and escapes.
Nogueira dives in and grabs Bitchin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bitchin pushes down on Nogueira's head and hops out.

Bitchin scores with a spinning back kick!
Bitchin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bitchin darts in and clinches Nogueira up against the cage.

Bitchin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bitchin throws a sloppy head kick and Nogueira moves out of range easily.
Bitchin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nogueira is fending him off so far but Bitchin persists. Nope, Nogueira circles away and we're back to standing.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nogueira wants to get up but he can't break Bitchin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

I looks like Bitchin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bitchin with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Bitchin decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nogueira throws a series of punches but Bitchin moves out of range.
Bitchin looks for a takedown but Nogueira sprawls well.

A frustrated look appears on Nogueira's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Nogueira looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nogueira has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Bitchin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nogueira throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nogueira throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Bitchin closes the distance and clinches.
Nogueira tries to circle away but Bitchin has him pinned against the cage.
Bitchin keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nogueira's efforts to push away.

Bitchin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nogueira tries to bum rush Bitchin with a series of wild strikes but Bitchin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Nogueira gets caught flat footed, as Bitchin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Nogueira is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bitchin is controlling him.

Nogueira will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
