Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake The GridIron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marek Petrasek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The GridIron comes to the cage accompanied by eminem"im a solja". Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The GridIron gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The GridIron content to slow the pace in the clinch.
The GridIron fails to pull guard.
Petrasek tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. The GridIron smiles and moves away.
Petrasek fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Petrasek scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Petrasek looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jake The GridIron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marek Petrasek.
Petrasek misses with a series of wild punches.
Petrasek closes the distance but The GridIron moves to the side

and The GridIron counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Petrasek passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Petrasek grinds an elbow into The GridIron's temple.
Petrasek lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear The GridIron down.
The GridIron is not content to let Petrasek control the position.

Petrasek decides to take the fight back to the feet.

and The GridIron counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Petrasek had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. The GridIron is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Petrasek Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take The GridIron's back instead.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The GridIron stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Petrasek swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The GridIron shoots in for a double leg but Petrasek sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Petrasek counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. The GridIron is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and The GridIron counters with a nice double leg into side control. Petrasek won't be happy with that.

The GridIron tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no The GridIron has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The GridIron drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The GridIron drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Petrasek manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now The GridIron has Petrasek in his guard.

Petrasek has his foot on The GridIron's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The GridIron works his way back into a safe position though.

The GridIron escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Petrasek gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
