The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dj has a takedown stuffed.
dj shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mallorca pinned against the cage. Mallorca gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
dj fails with an attempt to clinch.

dj gets caught flat footed, as Mallorca shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

dj uses the cage to get back to his feet.

dj changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mallorca fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Mallorca seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down dj for as long as he can get away with.

Mallorca has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mallorca goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now dj is on top in guard.
