Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Sheen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sheen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mighty Ducks. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Sheen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mariusz Pudzianowski! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pudzianowski shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sheen's guard. Sheen wants to stand up but Pudzianowski is controlling him. Pudzianowski trying to control but Sheen is working from the bottom. Pudzianowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sheen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pudzianowski postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sheen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pudzianowski, into his guard. Sheen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Pudzianowski throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sheen escapes and throws Pudzianowski's legs to the side, diving into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Pudzianowski sneaks back into half guard. Pudzianowski looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Sheen pushes past his half guard into mount! Pudzianowski is trying to escape the mount.
Pudzianowski slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Sheen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sheen works his way into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sheen goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Pudzianowski is on top in guard.
Sheen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pudzianowski is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pudzianowski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pudzianowski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Sheen trying to keep a closed guard but Pudzianowski is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pudzianowski pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sheen is keeping the position for now. Pudzianowski postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sheen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pudzianowski, into his guard. Sheen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pudzianowski looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pudzianowski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sheen circles away. Sheen throws a right and a left that Pudzianowski avoids nicely. Pudzianowski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sheen manages to avoid it. Pudzianowski scores with a nice right hand.

Pudzianowski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sheen was covering up waiting for the punch and Pudzianowski finishes the takedown easily into guard. Pudzianowski drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sheen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pudzianowski has Sheen in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sheen trying to control the position from guard on top but Pudzianowski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pudzianowski had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sheen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pudzianowski Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sheen's back instead. Pudzianowski looking to break Sheen's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Sheen remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Pudzianowski will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sheen trying to control the hands but Pudzianowski won't let him. Pudzianowski patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Sheen is in a bad position with Pudzianowski working for a choke. Sheen manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment. Sheen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pudzianowski swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pudzianowski tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sheen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pudzianowski is breathing heavily. Sheen stopping the sweep attempt from Pudzianowski. Sheen is looking to advance position but Pudzianowski has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sheen wants to hold on but Pudzianowski pushes him away. Pudzianowski goes for an armbar but Sheen turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Sheen. Sheen lands a couple of elbows. Pudzianowski keeping moving, preventing Sheen from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sheen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pudzianowski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sheen has managed to get both his arms back between Pudzianowski's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mariusz Pudzianowski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sheen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sheen wants to pass the guard but Pudzianowski is keeping the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pudzianowski cracks Sheen with a right hand to the side of the head. Sheen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sheen wants it to stay on the feet. Marcus Sheen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pudzianowski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sheen but Sheen pushes him off and we're back to square one. Marcus Sheen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mariusz Pudzianowski. Sheen stuffs the takedown attempt from Pudzianowski. Pudzianowski gets slowly back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight! Mariusz Pudzianowski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pudzianowski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
