Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lancett Cridle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and luke mcmenamin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cridle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Counterfeit by Limp Bizkit. luke mcmenamin struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. luke mcmenamin has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

mcmenamin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
mcmenamin is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
mcmenamin's corner is telling him to maintain position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now mcmenamin is on top in guard.
mcmenamin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

mcmenamin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cridle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, mcmenamin has managed to get both his arms back between Cridle's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cridle manages to capitalize on a mistake by mcmenamin to take his back!

Cridle has the hooks in. mcmenamin is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

mcmenamin throws a lazy right hand but Cridle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

mcmenamin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - mcmenamin lands in his opponent's guard.
Cridle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Lancett Cridle showed his dominance in that final round.
