Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Cech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kayaki Chonin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chonin has chosen Fedor Entrance Song as his entrance music. Kayaki Chonin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuri Cech! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Kayaki Chonin! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Chonin tries to pull guard but Cech holds him up against the cage and eventually Chonin drops back down to his feet.

Cech will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chonin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cech is trying to defend but Chonin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cech looks like he's trying to stand up.

Chonin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cech can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Chonin has his foot on Cech's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cech works his way back into a safe position though. Chonin looks gassed!

Chonin wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Cech manages to pass to side control. Cech stands up out of the half guard. Yuri Cech is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Chonin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Cech throws a right hand that Chonin ducks under and follows up with a left that Chonin also avoids with ease. Chonin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Cech moves in looking to clinch but Chonin pushes him off. Chonin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cech. The fight stays on the outside here - Cech looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cech fails with an attempt to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kayaki Chonin will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Chonin on the wrong end of a nice hook. Cech is looking to clinch. Chonin lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Cech goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Cech wants to clinch up but Chonin keeps it at a distance. Cech tries to close the distance and clinch but Chonin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cech forces Chonin back against the cage and clinches. Chonin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cech avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Cech is trying to break the clinch but Chonin is controlling him. A hook to the body from Cech.

Cech throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Chonin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cech! Chonin is breathing heavily. Cech wants to hold on but Chonin pushes him away. Chonin working the ground and pound effectively.

Cech controls Chonin momentarily but Chonin frees himself. Chonin preventing the sweep. Chonin forces his way into half guard. Chonin is looking for a kimura here.
This has been an exciting period of action! Chonin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Cech avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chonin. Chonin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cech is just riding it out for now. Chonin eventually gives up the hold. Cech wants to control but Chonin is keeping busy and won't allow it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cech tries to clinch but Chonin is having none of it. Cech paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Cech throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Chonin counters with a nice uppercut. Cech throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Chonin counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cech tries to clinch there but Chonin circles away.

Kayaki Chonin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Chonin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cech's half guard. Chonin is looking to take a break and control but Cech is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chonin prevents Cech from improving his position. Cech pushes Chonin off looking to stand but Chonin dives back in and keeps control.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Chonin not landing any meaningful shots this time. Cech is controlling Chonin's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cech misses with a double jab.

Chonin throws a big right hand that misses. Chonin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cech is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cech has escaped and now he's on top! Cech looking to pass the guard.

Kayaki Chonin has got the better of the ground game so far. Chonin is landing with some decent strikes but Cech is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Chonin wants to finish this one by submission but Cech is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Chonin. Chonin goes for an armbar but Cech turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Cech.

Chonin pushes Cech off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Chonin avoids the head kick by Cech.

Cech misses with a kick to the body and Cech takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cech is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chonin. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Chonin moves out of range of the body kick from Cech.

Chonin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cech keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chonin. Cech tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cech throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chonin throws a hook but Cech avoids it easily. Cech clinches but Chonin breaks the clinch and Chonin counters with a lovely straight right hand! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cech throws a body punch but Chonin moves out of range. A head kick by Cech misses so Chonin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Chonin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Chonin preventing the sweep. Chonin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chonin stands up from Cech's guard - Chonin perhaps looking for a knockout. Cech throws a head kick that misses and Chonin counters with a stiff right hand. Cech dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Chonin circles away from the clinch attempt and Chonin counters with a nice uppercut. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

Cech throws a sloppy head kick and Chonin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Chonin throws a hook to the side of Cech's head but Cech sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cech tries to clinch up and Chonin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Chonin is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Cech still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Cech has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Chonin is trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cech working away. Chonin is looking to reverse the position. Chonin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Cech is chipping away with strikes.

A low kick from Cech is predictable there and Chonin counters with a head kick. Cech closes the distance looking to clinch and Chonin counters with a two punch combo. A shot to de liver by Chonin. Beautiful body shot. Cech falls off balance throwing a combination
and Chonin counters with a stiff right hand. Yuri Cech has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cech ducks right into an uppercut from Chonin.
And that's the end of the fight! Kayaki Chonin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Chonin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
