Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Leonidas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Gattuso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gattuso has chosen DMX - X Gonna Give It To Ya as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonidas is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gattuso's half guard.
Gattuso wants to control but Leonidas is keeping busy.
Gattuso pushes Leonidas off looking to stand but Leonidas dives back in and keeps control.
Leonidas trying to control from half guard but Gattuso is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leonidas content to control rather than advance.
Leonidas wants to pass the guard but Gattuso is defending well.
Gattuso is not content to let Leonidas control the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Gattuso misses with a two punch combination.
Leonidas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Leonidas wants to control but Gattuso is keeping him busy.
Gattuso really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leonidas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gattuso regains half guard, as Leonidas was trying to land strikes.

Leonidas content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Leonidas is just content to waste time from the top position. Gattuso takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gattuso won't allow Leonidas to pass to mount.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Leonidas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gattuso.
Gattuso has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gattuso fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gattuso tries to close the distance and clinch but Leonidas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Leonidas counters with a nice body shot.
Gattuso is breathing heavily.
Leonidas scores with a one two! Gattuso had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Leonidas stalks Gattuso and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gattuso's face. Gattuso staggers backwards, shaken.
Gattuso looks for a takedown but Leonidas sprawls well.
King Leonidas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Javier Gattuso.

and Leonidas counters by moving into the clinch.
Gattuso tries to break free but Leonidas pushes him back against the cage.
Gattuso has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Gattuso breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

It looks like King Leonidas has been cut.
Gattuso throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Leonidas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Leonidas lands in his opponent's guard.
Gattuso is looking to stand up but Leonidas isn't so interested in that idea.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Leonidas stops Gattuso from standing up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Gattuso is looking to clinch.
Leonidas misses with a kick to the body.
Gattuso cracks a nice hook into Leonidas's ribs.
Leonidas is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gattuso.
Gattuso lands a high kick!
Leonidas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gattuso.

Gattuso misses with a series of wild punches.
Gattuso digs a good body shot into Leonidas's ribs.
Gattuso chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gattuso throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Leonidas's head.

Gattuso ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gattuso takes a swing at Leonidas's ribcage but misses.
Javier Gattuso has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Gattuso punishes Leonidas's body with a nice straight punch.
King Leonidas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gattuso ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Leonidas takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Gattuso lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Gattuso lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Gattuso lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A nice leg kick lands there from Gattuso.

And that's the end of the fight!
Javier Gattuso comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Leonidas has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
