Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Don Ready (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Stark told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Stark! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ready avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Stark throws a lazy right hand but Ready sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Stark throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Stark misses with a hook. Ready ducked under it nicely. Ready shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stark manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Ready working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stark can do anything to dispel that myth. Ready throwing strikes but missing. Ready works a leg free and moves into half guard. Stark keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ready missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Ready drops an elbow to the side of Stark's head. Ready looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stark with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ready is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A jab from Stark misses. Stark misses with a body kick. Stark thows a left - swing and a miss! Stark throws a looping overhand right but Ready ducks down to avoid it. A jab lands there for Stark. Ready slips under a jab from Stark. Stark lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ready bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ready working the head with strikes. Stark is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ready connects with a decent elbow. Ready looks up at the clock and then as Stark takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ready smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ready tries to score with some ground and pound. Stark controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Stark is not content to let Ready control the position. Stark really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ready. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ready creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Stark sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Stark is looking to reverse the position. Stark takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Stark taking punishment in the form of punches.

Ready lands a decent elbow from side control. Stark on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ready laying and praying for a moment but Stark takes advantage and regains half guard. Stark avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ready. Ready lands strikes from half guard. Ready is keen to just control but Stark is a slippery customer. Ready throwing shots but Stark is blocking nicely. Ready thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stark's head. Ready looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stark with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ready frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Stark is in all sorts of trouble here.

Ready lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Stark is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Don Ready overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ready connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Stark is rocked! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ready lands a big shot there that rocks Stark but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Don Ready dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Nice sprawl there from Stark as Ready shoots in. Tony Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stark doesn't manage to clinch there - Ready circles away.

Ready thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ready misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

And that's the end of the fight! Don Ready showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ready, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
