The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuppi shoots in for a takedown but Sanchez shows good takedown defense.
Nuppi shoots in looking for a takedown. Sanchez tries to sprawl out of it but Nuppi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sanchez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sanchez lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nuppi's sensitive parts.

Sanchez moves into the clinch.
Nuppi can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tero Nuppi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nuppi is working for takedown but Sanchez is calmly controlling the position for now.

Sanchez drags the fight down to the ground.

Nuppi drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Nuppi seems to have locked his on tight now - Sanchez screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Nuppi, as he picks up the win!
