Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DeSimone's waist but DeSimone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jackson.
Jackson misses with a two punch combination.
DeSimone avoids a kick to the body.

DeSimone feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, DeSimone changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jackson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from DeSimone.

DeSimone drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick DeSimone off! DeSimone jumps back into Jackson's guard.

Jackson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. DeSimone stacks Jackson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by DeSimone!
DeSimone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
DeSimone avoids the strikes from the bottom by Jackson.
DeSimone lands a nice forearm strike.
Jackson is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

DeSimone has an Americana. Jackson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! DeSimone is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if DeSimone hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
