The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waddell tries to clinch but Santos moves out of range.
Santos throws a nice looking combination but Waddell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
CJ Waddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Waddell closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Waddell is looking to take a break and control but Santos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Waddell tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Waddell is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Santos has escaped the position, nice work there.
