Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben Morino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Totsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Morino had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morino's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Morino duly obliges.
Totsky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Morino slips a straight right by Totsky.
Morino throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Totsky.
Totsky scores with a body shot.
Totsky is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Morino.
Totsky throws an overhand right that lands on Morino's shoulder, as Morino tries to avoid the shot.
Morino fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Totsky manages to avoid it.
Morino looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morino misses with a jab to the body
and Totsky counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Ben Morino has been cut.
Morino is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Totsky counters with a crisp right hand that drops Morino! Totsky lets Morino back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Totsky drops Morino with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Morino looks back up at him and smiles so Totsky waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Morino is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Morino tries to bum rush Totsky with a series of wild strikes but Totsky uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Morino bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Morino seems to have got his legs back now.
Morino throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ben Morino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Totsky darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Morino's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Totsky before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Leo Totsky!
