Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luukku Lefa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris O Brian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Lefa misses.

O Brian is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lefa's half guard.

O Brian rushes Lefa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lefa tries to land a knee to the head but O Brian blocks with his arms.

Lefa tries to break free but O Brian pushes him back against the cage.
Lefa is trying to maintain a safe position but O Brian gets an underhook and turns Lefa into the cage.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now O Brian is on top in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lefa is not content to let O Brian control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

O Brian postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Lefa to stand up.
O Brian avoids the head kick by Lefa.
O Brian fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lefa.

O Brian darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
O Brian moves nicely into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
O Brian connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lefa some visible discomfort.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris O Brian dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lefa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

O Brian throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
O Brian lands a nice hook to Lefa's body. Lefa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

O Brian pulls Lefa in close to his closed guard and prevents Lefa from doing any damage or advancing position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lefa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst O Brian is controlling him.
O Brian not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

O Brian is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
O Brian wants to control the pace but Lefa is squirming around nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
O Brian is landing with some decent strikes but Lefa is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The referee warns Lefa that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chris O Brian showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Lefa gets caught flat footed, as O Brian shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

O Brian decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

O Brian has hold of one of Lefa's legs. Lefa is fighting the takedown attempt but O Brian gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
O Brian has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lefa dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on O Brian. That did some damage!

O Brian changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lefa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
O Brian tries to advance to mount but Lefa denies him.

Lefa is working to avoid the ground and pound but O Brian connects with a decent elbow.
Lefa tries to escape but O Brian is in control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lefa throws a sloppy head kick and O Brian moves out of range easily.
No luck for O Brian with that takedown attempt.
Chris O Brian is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

O Brian is taking a breather. Lefa says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
