Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zack Everest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Sambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Everest comes to the cage accompanied by Victory. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sambo moves away from the strike by Everest.
Sambo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Everest.
Sambo tries to clinch but Everest moves out of range.

Everest misses with an uppercut. Sambo saw that one coming.
Everest loads up on a big right hand but Sambo slips the punch.

Sambo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Everest gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Everest throws a hook to the side of Sambo's head but Sambo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Sambo throws a series of punches but Everest avoids them all with ease.

That was a close round but I would say that Zack Everest will probably get the nod.
