James decides to return to a standing position.

James lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Escobar circles away quickly and effectively.
James looks to land a combination but Escobar avoids it well.

James throws a lazy right hand but Escobar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Escobar shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Escobar is looking to advance position but James won't allow it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
James moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

James misses with an uppercut.
Escobar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Escobar shoots in for a double leg but James sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
James lands a nice leg kick that just misses Escobar's sensitive parts.

James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

James lands a left and a right that send Escobar crashing to the mat, dazed. James thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

James looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
BOOM! James lands a beautiful left hook that drops Escobar. Escobar tries to recover but James is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Escobar lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
