Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perez Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Last look at eden. Perez Smith is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Smith.

Silva scores with a takedown into Smith's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva postures up in Smith's guard and throws a big left but Smith blocks it.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silva tries to clinch but Smith moves out of range.

Smith shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Smith showed some decent athleticism there.

Smith has an Americana. Silva didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Smith is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Smith hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
