Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ukkonen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kaira.
Ukkonen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kaira misses the jab.
Kaira throws a head kick that misses.
Kaira takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kaira has closed the distance and engaged Ukkonen in a clinch.
Kaira stops a takedown attempt from Ukkonen.
Ukkonen tries to score a body lock takedown but Kaira shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Kaira unloads a knee to the mid-section. Ukkonen lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Ukkonen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Aamo Kaira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Okko Ukkonen.
Ukkonen fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Ukkonen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ukkonen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Kaira is looking to work some ground and pound but Ukkonen has wrist control.

Ukkonen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kaira is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ukkonen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kaira's back instead.
Ukkonen looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kaira is trying to break free.

Kaira breaks Ukkonen's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Kaira drops back looking for a leg! Ukkonen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ukkonen manages to kick Kaira off! Kaira jumps back into Ukkonen's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kaira's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Kaira postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Ukkonen is rocked!
Kaira avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ukkonen is still in real trouble! Can Kaira finish him?
Kaira stands up over Ukkonen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kaira lands a couple of digs.
Kaira postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kaira gets to his feet and stands over Ukkonen, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Ukkonen felt that one! Kaira unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Ukkonen from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aamo Kaira!
