The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans shoots for a double leg takedown but Flores sprawls well. He's pushed Evans's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Flores lands a big head kick that sends Evans tumbling to the mat! Flores takes a step backwards and waves Evans back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Rashad Evans has been cut.

Flores sends Evans crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Flores is motioning to the referee to let Evans up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Evans tries for a takedown but Flores sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
