The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baal takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rection throws a body punch but Baal moves out of range.
Rection swats away the attempt to clinch by Baal.
Rection throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Baal loads up on a big right hand but Rection slips the punch.
A telegraphed right hand from Baal misses the target.
Baal fails with a takedown attempt.
Rection misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rection looks to land a left hand but Baal moved out of range nicely.
Rection catches Baal with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Rection fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Baal walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Baal avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rection looks to score with a jab to the body but Baal is just out of range.
Rection throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Baal sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rection scores with a three punch combo!
Good exchange - Rection coming out on top.
Baal doesn't manage to clinch there - Rection circles away.
Baal moves in looking to clinch but Rection pushes him off.
Baal dodges the punch combination from Rection.

Baal bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rection stalks Baal and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Baal's face. Baal staggers backwards, shaken.

Baal is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rection.
Rection slips a straight right by Baal.
Rection uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Baal.
Rection tests Baal's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nice body punch from Rection.
Baal on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baal gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rection.
Baal throws a hook to the side of Rection's head but Rection sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Baal misses the jab.

Baal misses with a looping left.
Baal takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Baal displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rection throws out the jab.
Rection keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Baal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rection's waist but Rection gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baal off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Triston Baal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rection keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Rection throws a combination. Baal tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Baal is breathing heavily.
Rection lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
