Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cat Litter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bj penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Litter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Litter takes a swing at penn's ribcage but misses.

Litter shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Litter performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Litter stands up from half guard.
penn fails with a takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from penn.
Cat Litter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of bj penn.
Litter slaps away a takedown attempt from penn, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Litter pushes penn up against the cage in a clinch.

penn avoids the body shot from Litter.
Litter throws a right and a left that both miss.

Cat Litter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

penn gets caught flat footed, as Litter shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Litter is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

penn looking for a guillotine here but Litter defends easily.
penn wants to stand up but Litter is controlling him.

penn can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Litter controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Litter passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Litter stands up and beckons penn to his feet.
A lazy left from Litter finds it's target.
penn gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
penn shoots in but no luck this time.
penn takes one to the side of the head.

Litter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in penn's guard.
Litter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Litter stands and steps away. penn gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Litter.

Litter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, penn has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
You can see the frustration on penn's face as Litter controls the position.

Litter decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Litter closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. penn did well to prevent Litter getting side control.
penn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Litter is working away from the top position though.
Litter works his foot free and advances to mount.
Litter controlling from the full mount.

Litter has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Litter stands up from mount. Strange move.
penn takes one on the chin but seems OK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cat Litter dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

penn is looking to improve his position.
Litter slows the pace down in half guard.
penn tries to kick Litter off in order to stand up. Litter Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Litter advances to mount.

Litter is standing up, even though he is in mount.
penn is breathing heavily.
penn takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Litter moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Litter fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches penn on the side of the head.
Litter lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

penn is rocked!

Litter is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - penn is in big trouble! Litter is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking penn. Poor guy.
