Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between MUHAMMAD FAISAL (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jannik Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andersen has chosen 12 Stones - Anthem for the Underdog as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, MUHAMMAD FAISAL!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but FAISAL was well out of range. Poor timing from Andersen.
FAISAL gets caught flat footed, as Andersen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Andersen tries to stand but FAISAL is controlling from the bottom.
FAISAL has his foot on Andersen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Andersen works his way back into a safe position though.
Andersen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! FAISAL is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Andersen, into his guard.
FAISAL thows a big elbow that misses.
Andersen has his foot on FAISAL's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. FAISAL works his way back into a safe position though.
Andersen is working an open guard so FAISAL takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Andersen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? FAISAL is fending him off so far but Andersen persists. Nope, FAISAL circles away and we're back to standing.
Andersen shoots in but no luck this time.
Andersen looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Andersen avoids the head kick by FAISAL.
FAISAL wants to clinch up but Andersen keeps it at a distance.
Andersen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. FAISAL tries to avoid it but Andersen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag FAISAL to the ground. FAISAL escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
MUHAMMAD FAISAL has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jannik Andersen.
FAISAL closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Andersen did well to prevent FAISAL getting side control.
FAISAL decides to return to a standing position.
FAISAL shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Andersen is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and FAISAL has latched onto it... Big trouble! FAISAL pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Andersen is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from FAISAL!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). MUHAMMAD FAISAL!
