Steve has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Shane Steve has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve stuffs the takedown attempt from Morris. Morris gets slowly back to his feet.
Morris throws a right and a left that Steve avoids nicely.

Morris drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Morris tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Morris is trying to get an arm triangle but Steve is defending well.
Steve wants to get back to his feet but Morris drags him back down.
Steve is breathing heavily.
Steve is working to avoid the ground and pound but Morris connects with a decent elbow.

and Morris counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Steve escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Morris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Steve knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morris on the ground.
