Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marks drives through with a takedown into guard.
rodrigo keeping moving, preventing Marks from controlling successfully.
rodrigo trying to keep a closed guard but Marks is proving a slippery customer.
rodrigo is looking to stand up but Marks isn't so interested in that idea.
rodrigo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Marks stays in close to rodrigo's body and controls the position.
Marks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. rodrigo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Marks is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Marks stands and throws rodrigo's legs to the side, diving into side control.
rodrigo tries to improve position but can't.

Marks tries for a kimura but rodrigo is defending well.

You can see the frustration on rodrigo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Marks has an Americana. rodrigo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Marks is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Marks hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
