Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nix Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Roberto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberto has chosen Dead By April - Trapped as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberto fails to land the takedown.
Roberto slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jones stalks Roberto and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Roberto's face. Roberto staggers backwards, shaken.
Jones lands a head kick that stumbles Roberto and the fighters go to the mat.

Roberto is rocked!
Jones wants to stand but Roberto has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Roberto is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him?
Jones prevents Roberto from getting back to his feet.

Roberto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Roberto seems to have recovered his senses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones wants to stand but Roberto is controlling his posture from full guard.

Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roberto on the ground.

Roberto pushes Jones off and gets back to his feet.

Jones throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Jones throws a front kick that sends Roberto stumbling back into the cage.
Jones explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Jones throws a head kick but Roberto moves out of range.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Horrible takedown by Roberto or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.
Nix Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Roberto.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Roberto.
Roberto is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jones is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Roberto.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Roberto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Roberto shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Roberto gets to his feet. Jones looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Roberto shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jones wants to stand and escape but Roberto is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Roberto stands up and waves to Jones to follow him.
Roberto is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Pablo Roberto will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Roberto feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Roberto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

A head kick misses from Jones.

Roberto is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard.

Roberto seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Jones is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
