The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega shoots in but McNally avoids the takedown attempt easily.
McNally drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
McNally in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Vega is looking for a sweep.
Vega manages to work his way to half guard, despite McNally's best efforts.

McNally is working for a kimura but Vega is defending it quite comfortably.
Vega looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Vega keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
McNally tries to pass to full mount but Vega defends it.
Vega is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McNally scores with a couple of nice shots.

McNally wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Vega uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Vega is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but McNally frees his head nicely. Oh but Vega has switched to an armbar! McNally is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
