The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Tang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tang pinned against the cage. Tang gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Smith shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tang napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Tang manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Tang is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tang has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Smith should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Tang has tightened it up now! Smith should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
