Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucky Seven!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seven throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
AHISP has a takedown stuffed.

Seven throws a series of punches but AHISP avoids them all with ease.
AHISP looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Seven looks to land a combination but AHISP avoids it well.

Seven shoots for a double leg takedown but AHISP sprawls well. He's pushed Seven's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

AHISP is looking for a triangle here but Seven uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Seven tries to move to mount but AHISP blocks the move with his legs.
AHISP can't do much from the bottom here.

Seven is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but AHISP is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

AHISP misses with a takedown attempt

so Seven counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

AHISP is looking for a triangle here but Seven uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
AHISP is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Seven is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Seven looking to control but AHISP is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Seven forces AHISP back against the cage and clinches.
AHISP trying to stall but Seven improves his position.
Seven misses with a knee strike.
AHISP tries to score a body lock takedown but Seven shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Seven with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Seven prevents the takedown attempt.

Seven's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
AHISP shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Seven counters with a nice double leg into side control. AHISP won't be happy with that.

AHISP is trying to control Seven's posture but Seven avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seven throwing strikes but AHISP manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

AHISP wants to control but Seven is keeping him busy.

AHISP is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Seven knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

AHISP tries for a kimura but Seven is defending well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
AHISP blocks the strikes from Seven.
Seven is looking for a sweep.

Seven wants to control but AHISP postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Seven tries to clinch up but AHISP circles away and keeps his distance.

AHISP is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Seven.

Seven shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches AHISP napping and manages to drive through into side control!
AHISP takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Seven wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by AHISP, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on AHISP's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

AHISP is looking for a sweep.
Seven trying to control the position but AHISP is working away.
AHISP wants to control but Seven postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lucky Seven showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!


AHISP uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Seven.

Seven clinches up with AHISP and pushes him back against the cage.
AHISP drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
AHISP is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Seven throws an elbow that misses.
Seven gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from AHISP.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gurton AHISP. That's going to take a lot out of him.
AHISP blocks the elbow strike.

Seven jumps guard and drags AHISP to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Seven really doesn't want to stay on the ground with AHISP. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
AHISP looking to sit in guard and control but Seven gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Seven wants to pass the guard but AHISP is keeping the position.

AHISP had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Seven is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. AHISP Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Seven's back instead.

AHISP tightening his grip on Seven, looking for the choke.

Seven trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
AHISP struggling to keep hold of the position.

AHISP is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Seven has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Seven has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Seven wants to control his opponent's hands but AHISP gets his hands free.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

AHISP goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Seven escapes and is now in half guard on top.
AHISP is staying active underneath Seven, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Lucky Seven comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Seven has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
